Chant for Love, Spring 2025
Reflection: Chant for Love 2025
In the unfolding of early spring, we gathered once again, not to perform, but to remember. To return. To root ourselves in what is timeless.
This was our second time co-creating Chant for Love with Radha and Josh, following their soul-stirring journey through India. Their presence, like the practice itself, reminded us that kirtan is not about performance. It’s about presence. It’s about offering your voice, just as it is, in love and devotion, in community.
Together, we crossed the boundary between sound and silence, heart and heights. We experienced what it means to chant not from the lips, but from the core of being. Whether you walked in with years of spiritual practice or none at all, mantra met you where you were and opened you.
Over the course of the weekend, we engaged in forest therapy, quieted our minds among the trees, and remembered our belonging to the Earth. On the final night, we hiked to Bhakti Mountain, carrying our intentions with us as the sun dipped behind the distant peaks. We shared a meal, then circled the sacred summit fire voices rising together in song, gratitude, and awe.
We learned again that the courage to use our voice, in song and in truth, creates our reality. And that love, when chanted together, becomes a field we can all rest in.
If you missed this one, we’ll be gathering again in September. The mountain is waiting.
