november Just Love Forest Community Weekend: Meditation, Service, Sound Circle & Forest Therapy

COMMUNITY WEEKEND AT JUST LOVE FOREST 2026

Hello, Forest Family!

We’re so glad you’ve found your way here. 🙏🏽

This page allows you to register for one or more Community Weekend gatherings all in one place. If you’re planning to attend multiple offerings, this combined registration is the easiest option. If you’re only attending a single event, you’ll also find individual registration pages for each gathering. The combined registration link can be found at the bottom of this page.

The weekend begins with meditation at 4:30 PM on Friday. You’ll arrive at the start time of the sessions you choose, such as Saturday’s Service Day at 10:30 AM, Saturday’s Song & Sound Circle at 4:30 PM, or Sunday Forest Therapy at 10:30 AM. Simply select all the sessions you’d like to attend when you register. Read more below.

ABOUT COMMUNITY WEEKEND

These monthly community weekends are an invitation into something simple and increasingly rare: a living, breathing relationship with land, with one another, and with a sense of shared care that unfolds over time.

This is a financially accessible way to build real forest friendships throughout the year, showing up regularly, getting to know faces and names, offering your hands in service on Saturdays, and receiving the nourishment of meditation, song, sound, and forest therapy in return.

So much of modern life asks us to be independent, self-sufficient, and alone. Here, we practice interdependence instead - learning how to care for the land together, how to support one another, and how to belong without having to perform or prove anything.

If you’re brand new, a little curious, or even a bit nervous, this is also the gentlest way to visit Just Love Forest. You can come for just a few hours, a day, or a night, feel the rhythm of the place, and see if it’s your vibe. No long commitment required.

All ages are welcome. Families, kids, elders, first-timers, and long-timers alike.

You’re invited to attend one, some, or all of the offerings below.

If you have questions, special needs, or want help choosing what feels right, reach out anytime at contact@justloveforest.com. We’re happy to support you.

Friday – Donation-Based Meditation Overnight
Arrival: 4:30 PM

Be Here Fridays
Satsang with the Teachings of Ram Dass

A Just Love Forest Ashram Evening Gathering

Be Here Fridays are a soft landing into the weekend.

As the light fades and the forest settles, we gather to slow down, listen inward, and spend an evening in shared presence. These nights are about remembering what’s already here. Nothing to achieve. Nothing to fix. Just being together.

Just Love Forest is held as a Forest Ashram, welcoming compassionate people of all paths. Our roots are in the lineage of Neem Karoli Baba and the Bhakti Yoga tradition, the yoga of love and devotion. No prior knowledge or spiritual background is needed. Curiosity and an open heart are enough.

This gathering is donation-based. Please offer what you can to help care for the land, the space, and the shared meal. Everyone is welcome.

The evening includes:

• A guided meditation suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners
• Pooja and Aarti, a simple ceremonial offering honoring the elements and directions through light, song, and prayer

This is a multi-faith, inclusive space. If you feel called, you’re welcome to bring a sacred object from your own tradition to place on the altar and receive blessings. Spiritualist, Hindu, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, earth-based, or otherwise. All are honored here.

If meditation or ceremony feels unfamiliar or even a little intimidating, please know that nothing is required of you. You are welcome to sit, observe, breathe, and simply be present. Respectful curiosity is more than enough.

We’ll share a nourishing Indian dinner together before meditation.

You’re welcome to join us just for the evening and depart around 8:00 PM, or stay overnight in one of our canvas bell tents. Both options are donation-based.

Saturday morning unfolds gently with:

• Silent meditation from 7:00 to 8:00 AM
• Pooja and Aarti from 8:00 to 8:30 AM
• Breakfast afterward

Come sit with the forest.
Breathe.
Listen.
Share the quiet.

A simple packing list will be sent after registration.

Saturday – A Day of Service & Song

Service Day Arrival: 10:30 AM

Saturday during the day is all about reciprocity, giving back to the land that holds us.

In the late morning and early afternoon, we’ll engage in gentle, meaningful service projects such as planting, tending the gardens, building, or caring for the forest and trails. No special skills are needed. This is about contributing what you can, at your own pace, alongside others.

Song & Sound Circle Arrival: 4:30 PM

In the evening, we gather for a Song & Sound Circle. This is a relaxed, joyful space of shared music and presence. Voices, chants, drums, guitars, flutes, bowls, and other instruments are welcome. So is quiet listening. It’s always something unique.

You don’t need to be a musician. You don’t need to sing “well.” This is about connection, resonance, and shared joy.

Sunday – Shinrin-Yoku (Forest Therapy)
Arrival: 10:30 AM

Sunday offers a slower, deeply nourishing close to the weekend.

Shinrin-yoku, or forest therapy, is a guided practice of sensory immersion in nature. We’ll move gently through the forest, pausing to notice breath, texture, sound, scent, and light. There’s no hiking requirement and no destination to reach.

This practice is especially supportive for those who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply in need of rest. Many people leave feeling calmer, clearer, and more grounded.

CONSIDER MEMBERSHIP

If you find yourself wanting to return again and again throughout the year, membership is a simple way to stay connected and supported.

Membership is for those who feel drawn to build ongoing relationships with the land and community showing up regularly, deepening friendships, and participating in the shared rhythm of service, ceremony, and care.

For $50 per month, members receive several benefits, including one of the most meaningful:

Members may attend the entire monthly Community Weekend for a flat contribution of $50.

That means you can join Friday meditation, Saturday service and song, and Sunday forest therapy without worrying about individual session costs. It’s our way of keeping these gatherings financially accessible while encouraging consistency and relationship over time.

Membership also supports the ongoing stewardship of Just Love Forest by helping care for the land, maintain shared spaces, and sustain a place where community can continue to gather with intention and heart.

There’s no pressure to attend every month. Membership simply creates a steady bridge between you and the forest, so you can come when you’re able and feel held when you do.

If you’re longing for a place to belong, not just to visit once, but to return to, membership may be the right next step.
