Sarah Woolson - Earthsong: An Embodied Sound Bath

Sarah Woolson

Earthsong: An Embodied Sound Bath

A practice of deep listening that explores the living relationship between sound, our bodies, and the Earth.

About Sarah

Sarah Woolson is a mental health counselor, music therapist, and therapeutic sound practitioner whose work centers on sound, embodiment, connection, and reflective practice.

Her clinical work integrates music, somatic awareness, and mindfulness-based approaches to mental health treatment. Through Woolson Wellness, she facilitates community sound baths, workshops, and music-centered experiences that create space for reflection and reconnection.

Sarah is especially passionate about the ways music and sound can invite us into deeper relationship with how we care for ourselves and how we relate to the world around us.

About the Experience

Sound is always present with us. Even in the absence of sound, there is presence.

Within each of us is a living orchestra of breath, heartbeat, digestion, movement, and voice. Our internal orchestra is guided by a nervous system that is constantly listening and responding.

Beyond the body, the Earth is offering its own ongoing orchestra—the music of wind, birds, trees, water, insects, and the ever-present hum of the ground beneath our feet. These sounds invite us into relationship with a larger living song of which we are already a part.

In Earthsong, we begin with the practice of listening. We make space for what is, witnessing without judgment. We turn inward to notice the music of our own bodies, then gradually expand our awareness outward to the sounds of the forest and the larger presence of the Earth.

From there, Sarah will guide participants into a restorative sound bath, where sound becomes an invitation into deeper relationship—not simply something we hear, but something we experience as part of our own living soundscape.

Throughout the experience, moments of gentle guidance, silence, sound, deep listening, and reflection will create space to notice what emerges.

Come as you are, find a comfortable place to rest, and allow yourself to listen.

Duration: 1 hour
Children who are able to participate in a quiet, reflective experience are welcome.
