Christina Della Iacono, Adam & Natalie Mangiaracina
Live Medicine Music + The Altar of Your Body
The evening will culminate in a participatory journey through sacred sound, collective expression, embodiment, and rest.
Christina and Adam will begin by weaving voice and music into a sonic journey of multilingual chants, medicine songs, icaros, mantras, and lullabies. Drawing from Christina’s work with sound, somatics, ceremony, and devotional music, the experience invites everyone into the music rather than simply asking them to watch a performance.
Songs may open naturally into improvisation and collective expression, allowing the energy to build through voice, rhythm, movement, and connection before gradually returning toward stillness. Participants are welcome to sing, move, bring a shaker, sit quietly, or simply receive the music.
From there, the evening will transition into Natalie Mangiaracina’s The Altar of Your Body, shifting our attention from collective expression toward our own embodied experience.
Natalie is a Somatic Deconstruction Coach whose work supports people in reconnecting with the wisdom of the body. Her approach draws from somatic practice, yoga, energy medicine, plant medicine facilitation, and trauma-informed healing, with particular attention to reclaiming personal sovereignty and developing a more compassionate relationship with the body.
In this sensory somatic experience, we’ll be invited to approach the body as a sacred altar—with reverence, loving-kindness, and compassion. Through intentional somatic practices and restorative sound, the experience creates space to soften patterns of performance and control, listen more closely to what the body is communicating, and simply be present with ourselves.
All components are invitations. Participants are always welcome to modify a practice, rest, observe, or opt out.
Together, the two offerings create an opening-night journey from song, rhythm, and collective expression into embodiment, stillness, and rest, preparing us to settle into the forest for the night.
