Marisa Skolky
Beyond Limits Conscious Dance: Closing Gathering
An embodied closing journey through movement, music, voice, and authentic expression - bringing us together one final time to move, release, celebrate, and integrate our weekend in the forest.
About Marisa
Marisa Skolky is an expressive arts and somatic practitioner whose work brings together movement, music, creativity, embodiment, and spiritual practice. For more than a decade, she has supported people in reconnecting with their intuition and authentic expression through an integrated mind, body, and spirit approach.
Through Beyond Limits Conscious Dance, Marisa creates spaces grounded in authenticity, inclusivity, safety, community, compassion, and freedom of expression. Her approach to conscious dance incorporates free-form movement alongside vocal toning and singing, inviting participants to experience music not only through movement, but through their own voices and embodied expression.
About the Experience
For our final gathering of Forest Fest, Marisa will guide us through a conscious dance experience designed to bring the weekend home through our bodies.
There are no steps to learn and no right or wrong way to move. Instead, we’ll be invited to listen to the music, to our bodies, to one another, and to whatever the weekend has awakened within us.
Through an intentional arc of music, free-form dance, vocal expression, and moments of collective connection, we’ll have space to move what needs moving, release what is ready to be released, celebrate what we’ve shared, and allow the many experiences of Forest Fest to settle more deeply into us.
The invitation is to follow your own body. Move expansively or barely at all. Dance alone or in connection with others. Use your voice or remain quiet. Rest when you need to. There is no particular experience you need to create.
As the dance comes toward completion, we’ll gradually transition from movement into stillness and gather together for our Forest Fest Closing Circle.
We’ll end not simply by saying goodbye, but by coming together one final time as a community - to honor what we’ve experienced, the connections we’ve made, and the forest that has held us throughout the weekend.
Come as you are. Move as you are. And join us as we bring Forest Fest home together.
